How to eat, Part 2

This time we're tackling cereal. Real grownup Rice Krispies (That's grown up as we get around here).

Here is Jordan demonstrating proper cereal eating technique. Bowl firmly placed on the table, spoon in hand.
















Now we see proper delivery method of the cereal. Granted, this way is a bit slow, but will keep the cereal off your lap and is the method generally accepted by society.

















Here we have Celia. On the surface, this method looks almost acceptable. Not something you'd do out in public, but a perfectly acceptable way to get that last bit of milk when you're by yourself at home.

















Here she's completely out of control. Face absolutely buried in the bowl, sucking up all milk and trying to lick the Krispies out of the bowl. The spoon has been abandoned on the table as a delivery method that is entirely too slow . This girl wants cereal in her mouth NOW.
















Now we have the after picture. While the "dump the bowl on your face" method will get you a quick mouthful of cereal, it will also get you Krispies stuck to your face, hair, and tummy. Don't try this at home folks!


















Note-yes, those are dishes in the sink and clutter on the window sill. Saturday mornings are out house are not known for neatness.

Learning to Eat Pizza

I bet you thought you just always knew how to eat pizza.....not so! Once upon a time your mom used to cut it up into teeny tiny pizza squares, then you had to figure out how to do it the right way. Celia has decided she is quite the big girl, and did NOT want little pizza for lunch. She wanted BIG pizza, so here she is, doing her best to eat it!





Other than a nose full of sauce, she did pretty good!

She also tried to help me make fondant this morning! Whew, what a mess. I debated taking my rings off (I never take them off for anything) and I'm so glad I decided to. Just looking at the mess of melted marshmallow made my hands sticky! I had that stuff everywhere. But now I have a nice looking ball of shiny icing. I just need to figure out what to do with it........
